Natural History Ink Journaling Workshop on the California Scrub Jay

Birder or not, you’ve likely met the familiar and fascinating California scrub jay. Get to know this Santa Cruz native in a special ink journaling workshop at the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural history on Thursday, August 15. Participants will explore the jay’s natural history through ink illustrations of its form, nests and eggs. Artist Hajra Meeks will lead, helping participants to build their artistic skills for future journaling.
