It’s clear to me that we should feel urgent about voting YES for Measure D, which will improve all forms of transportation for all people in Santa Cruz County. From walking, biking, riding and someday traveling by train — Measure D has thoughtfully taken into account all people’s needs. I’ve lived here since 1979 (wish we could turn back the clock) and have experienced the acceleration in growth and associated transportation hassles.
Do you know if Measure D does not pass, it will be years before we will have a chance to even vote to improve our transportation? Can you imagine years of nothing being done? I’m actually encouraging friends to Vote Yes on D — so you too — please vote YES on D, and spread the word; unless you know the magic of how to return to those good old days of Santa Cruz.
