Aptos High School’s 2018 graduates have maintained the values and missions of their school and The Aptos Times newspaper wanted to recognize some of these achievers. These are the Mission and Goals for which they have been striving during their time at Aptos High:
Mission: Educate and to support learners in reaching their highest potential. We prepare students to pursue successful futures and to make positive contributions to the community and the global society.
Goal 1: Increase the percentage of students who graduate college and career ready.
Goal 2: Provide students with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) aligned instruction and assessments.
Goal 3: Maintain a safe educational and social-emotional environment that fosters a caring community where students feel connected to and supported by peers and adults.
